In this episode, Associate Professor James Maguire talks about the climate impacts of digital infrastructures with a point of departure in the arrival of Big-Tech’s datacenters to Denmark. In this talk, James opens up for a more expansive understanding of digital infrastructures by pointing towards the regimes of material, energy, and governance resources needed to sustain them as well as how they are interconnected with surveillance forms of data capitalism.
